Kayak Trek
Kayak Trek Adventures is a Paddle Performance program based upon delivering what is the essence of whitewater paddling. We offer two distinct programs; guiding and adventure.
Our guiding program is defined by experiential learning whereby we foster an environment that enables the combination of technical skill along with river running. We know the enjoyment of paddling the water through a rapid. Rather than a “follow the leader” approach to running rivers, our objectives are to create as many opportunities where you will learn to make decisions on your own, read rapids and choose safe lines. Every participant is encouraged to work at a pace where they are comfortable; when “follow the leader” seems to be a more relaxed choice, we are happy guide you down.
Guiding programs may vary in length from single to multi day depending on each participant. Private and group rates are available. Prices are based upon our instructor day rate and vary depending on travel distance. All prices are subject to GST.
Our adventure program is also defined by the same philosophy as our guiding program. We have chosen each location based upon its uniqueness for teaching and enjoyment. Where applicable our adventure program is all inclusive and follows a set itinerary. Adventures outside the listed dates may be open to groups of 4 or more depending upon water levels and availability.
